Don’t sell your PVCs, Bodejo tells Fulani pastoralists

National president of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, has called on Fulani pastoralist across the country not to sell their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to any politician ahead of 2019 general elections.
He said the PVC should be safeguarded the way they guard their cows, adding that any politicians that approach them for their voter cards should be reported to the security agencies for arrest.
Bodejo made the call during a radio interactive programme in Melony Fm, Keffi, Nasarawa state over the weekend.
The Fulani leader further called on the Fulani to come out and collect their voter cards if they have not gotten one.
“I’m calling on all my people to come out and collect their PVCs and if you have collected, don’t sell it to anybody because the card is your power to vote for your leader. Anybody that tries to confuse you to sell your card, don’t fight with the person, just call the security agencies for his arrest,” he stressed.
Bedejo restated his commitment for peace and harmony among the Fulani and other ethnic groups in the country, adding that the pastoralists are peace-loving people that would continue to extend the love to other Nigerians at all times.
Meanwhile, the national youth leader of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Umar Aliyu Kaura Bauchi, has called on youths in the country to join hands and fight the scourge of kidnapping, rapping, cattle rustling and incessant killings in the country.
He also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to always include youths in his government to help him move the country forward.
