Eagles secure $500,000 CAF grant ahead 2018 W/Cup

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has given the Super Eagles a grant of $500,000 to prepare for next year’s World Cup in Russia.

Blueprint Sports understand that CAF announced this support to each of five African representatives to Russia 2018 – Nigeria, Senegal, Morocco, Morocco and Egypt.

Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi is heading a special committee set up by CAF give the African teams to the World Cup total support.

CAF have already moved AFCON 2019 qualifiers slated for march to September to allow the World Cup finalists prepare adequately for the global championship.
The committee met today in Moscow with officials of the five World Cup qualifiers on the sidelines of the World Cup draw.
