Ebira association declares support for Bello, launches ‘operation show your PVC’

The Kaduna Branch of the Ebira People’s Association (EPA) has declared support for the second term of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

The declaration programme which was tagged; ‘Operation Show Your PVC’ was held in Kaduna.

Briefing newsmen on the matter, a youth leader, Comrade Rufai Musa Adavuruku, said, “We decided to back the Governor in view of his tremendous achievements in the area of security and other developmental strides recorded by him in the state,”

Explaining further, he said, “The Governor has helped in laying to rest incessant clashes in Kogi State; a gesture that has brought harmonious relationship among people of the West, East and Central.

“Also, the governor has through pragmatic leadership been able to checkmate kidnapping and armed robbery which were rife in Kogi State before the inception of his administration.”

Unlike previous administration who did not found it expedient to include youth in governance, the present administration has equally address it by appointing more youth in this government.

Speaking earlier, the chairman of the group, Comrade Idris Otohinoyi Usman reiterated EPA determination towards mobilizing Kogites across the state to vote for the Governor in the November governorship poll.

He said, “Yahaya administration was a moving train that deserves the involvement of all for him to sustain his lofty programme for Kogi State.”
