Ebonyi indigene inventsapp to help businesses, security agencies

Following widespread insecurity experienced across the country, a technology guru of Ebonyi state extraction, Mr Anthony Amadi, has officially launched a software application known as KwiKamto help businesses stay afloat and to secure Nigerians.

Unveiling the App recently, Amadi, who is a First Class graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in Electronics Engineering, noted that he was spurred by the need to not only help security agencies fight the challenges of insurgency, banditry, kidnapping among others but also help young businesses get easily located.

Speaking to Blueprint Thursday, Amadi revealed that the invention is the first of its kind in Nigeria as the app, which works without internet or sim card, uses GPRS capabilities to help its users discover services nearest to them, adding that “it is an Emergency, Nearme Services and a digital address system that can also help users discover important services near them.”

Amadi further stated that KwikamApp is already helping businesses get discovered, no matter their locations, by aggregating them, giving their contacts, addresses and distances they are away from others.

On the specifics of how the app works, the inventor said the services provided by KwiKamcan help users discover emergency services closest to every user by providing them with access to their ContactsLandmark Addressesand Directionsadding that users can also send their location info and as well, the issues around them to the registered contacts in their App.

He said: “KwiKam App works by generating digital addresses for your homes, offices, business areas, etc. For millions of businesses not already included in it, there’s absolutely nothing to worry about as your businesses can easily be added using ContactUson the SideNav within the App.

“Its emergency sections help users with units to call Police Control Rooms, Road Safety, Human Rights, Fire Services or even vigilantes among other emergencies that one may require.
