Blueprint report that 25 persons at Nkalaha, Obegu, Amezu, Umuhuali, Egedegede communities in Ishielu local government area of the state were killed by suspected herders on Monday night.

Senator Nnachi in a statement condemned the killings and asked security agencies  to embrace the Presidential Order.

“Security agencies should ensure that the culprits are apprehended and made to face the wrath of the law. They should intensify effort in ensuring that the rural dwellers are protected from further attack or any security breach.

” Security agencies should enforce the presidential order on shoot at sight on herdsmen carrying AK 47 Rifles to forestall future occurrence without fear and favour in order to safeguard the rural dwellers from this genocide been perpetrated by the herdsmen”.
