Ebonyi permanent secretaries to embark on two weeks training

The newly appointed permanent secretaries in Ebonyi state have scheduled to go for two weeks training at Osborne LA palm hotels in Abakaliki.

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi state who disclosed this on Wednesday after an exhaustive oral interview he personally conducted said their inauguration would be based on their performance in the training.

The permanent secretaries had undergone written interview where about 39 of them were shortlisted for the oral interview that took place on Tuesday May 7th at the executive chambers government house Abakaliki.

He said they are to be trained on, discipline in service,  physical fitness, football, civil service rules, moral education, accounting, e- government, budgeting, nutrition, project supervision, generation of memorandum.

Meanwhile drama played out during the interview as luck smiled on one Mrs Blessing Ezeoke who sat for the written interview and scored 78 percent but was disqualified  because she has less than four years to retire.

Umahi however gave her a chance after which she was selected her.
