Ebonyi police discover body in car boot

 

Ebonyi state Police Command has confirmed the killing of a secondary school teacher and father of three in Abakaliki by unknown person.

Sam Aleke was said to have  left the house  Saturday evening to collect an ear piece to make a call but never returned untill Sunday when his body was found squeezed inside his Toyota Camry car.

He is said to be the younger brother of a serving lawmaker with  Ebonyi state House of Assembly, Mr. Victor Aleke.

The deceased is believed to be a gentleman. He was said to have left behind a heavily pregnant woman and three children.

Confirming the report, the Police spokesman, DSP Loveth Odah, said the agency has commenced investigations to unravel the actual cause of the death.

He said: ” On Friday, Victor Alike reported that the younger brother  was missing and  that he left home to collect ear phone, to make call and didn’t return.

 “Police had commenced investigation when Saturday evening, call came in that they sighted the vehicle around Nwkegu and he was squeezed inside the car.

“His head was swollen, but there was no mark of gunshot or martchet cuts.

“Sources said he is a secondary school teacher, father of three and the wife is heavily pregnant woman.
