Eboue advises Toure to quit Man City

Ivorian legend Emmanuel Eboue has urged his countryman Yaya Toure to quit Manchester City.
Toure has found himself relegated to a bit-part role this season at City, who are managed by Pep Guardiola.
Eboue, who played for Arsenal between 2004 and 2011, spoke to the Manchester Evening News about Toure’s situation.
“I’m not sure that he is going to stay because he wants to play,” the 34-year-old said.
“If he still there he’s not going to play so I think for him it is better to leave – to go to play.
“He’s a good player so every week when you stay on the bench and you don’t play, it’s hard in your head,” he added.

“It’s time for him to leave. When you see City this year, the players they have are good – good midfielders, good strikers.

“So for me it is time to for him to leave,” Eboue, who has 79 Ivory Coast caps, concluded.

Toure, 34, has made only two appearances in the English Premier League (EPL) for City this season.
