ECDA passed vote of no confidence on Wilberforce’s leadership- Abuluya

The acting President Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA), Mr Mandy Abuluya, Sunday said 50 of 65 national representatives council of ECDA have passed vote of no confidence on Wilberforce Alaku’s leadership.

David Abuluya made this known while fielding question from newsmen in Akwanga on his emergence as the acting ECDA national president.

He said last month, 50 out of 65 National Representatives council (NRC) signed a petition for the removal of Mr,Wilberforce Alaku led ECDA leadership over some issues affecting Eggon nation.

He noted that anyone who is in doubt of the procedures on how Wilberforce was removed from office is free to lay his or her hands in such records so that collectively they can move Eggon nation foward.

 “It was a result of the vote of no confidence passed by 2/3 of the NRC that this seven man caretaker committee under my leadership was set up and inaugurated.

“The records and the procedures are there in the ECDA Secretariat on how Mr, Wilberforce Alaku led ECDA leadership were removed from office anybody that has a doubt is free to lay his or her hands in such records so that collectively we can move Eggon nation foward”.

The seven man caretaker committee include Mr, Mandy David Abuluya, as the acting national president, Agaya Kuje, secretary general, Ayuba Ezekiel, assistant Secretary general, Ewuga Godwin member, Andrew Abele, member, Pastor Ahmed Abialaku, member and Adgizi Haruna as member.

David Abuluya, who is the proprietor, NACABS polytechnic, Akwanga said that his plan was to reunite Eggon sons and daughters worldwide in the interest of peace and development.

He said peace was the necessary requirement for the development of any tribe and society, hence the need for everyone to embrace peace.
