Edo: APC lauds Buhari over Oyegun, others’ appointments



Edo state Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Col David Imuse Retd, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari over his recent appointments of some members of the party in the state into Federal Boards.


Imuse assured the President that appointees from the state will as usual take their appointments seriously and use it as an opportunity to deploy their competence and wealth of experience in the service of their fatherland.

In a statement by Victor Ofure Osehobo, the Assistant State Publicity Secretary of the party, Col. Imuse said, “These appointments is a call to service and an opportunity to serve the nation and I believe that those appointed will be focused, resourceful and dedicated”.
Three sons of the state – Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and Hon. Chris Azebamwan recently earned federal appointments.


Chief Oyegun was appointed Chairman of the Governing Council of the University of Ibadan.
Similarly, the duo of Azebamwen and Omoh were appointed as members, Governing council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, Akwa Ibom  and Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic, Kazaure, Jigawa states respectively.
