Twenty persons infected with the rampaging coronavirus (COVID-19) have been discharged from isolation facilities across Edo state.
Governor Godwin Obaseki who disclosed this via his verified twitter handle on Thursday said, “So far, 34 persons have been discharged.”
Obaseki however, stated that “A patient, who reported late for treatment was lost to the virus”
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) update showed that at least over 101 persons have been infected with virus in the State and five deaths recorded.
The Speaker of Edo state House of Assembly was the index case of the virus in the state and has since been discharged from treatment.
