Edo monarch sues for peace, unity and love among residents.

The traditional ruler of Afowa community, HRH Chief Jakhomi Alelumhe Imokha, iv,RSV,JP the OVBA of Afowa has called on members of his community to live in peace with each other for development and the growth of the area.


Chief Imokhai called on rich indigenes of the community to think about bringing their investments home to develop the area stressing that big cities like Lagos became busy commercial areas because people invested in those areas and sustained the growth with increased investment.

The monarch recently honoured several members of the community with chieftaincy titles and urged them in an interview with our reporter to intensify their investments in the community stating that “to whom much is given, much is expected. They should continue to assist the community.”
He also called on the youth in the state to embrace peace and to accept people who come to settle in the community especially since such visitors come with development initiative that would benefit the community.

Chief Imohai regretted that there are wealthy people who do not bother about developing their communities but prefer to invest outside due to fear, assuring that there would be sufficient protection for them and their investments.
The monarch urged youths to shun cultism and cooperate with elders to develop the state and the nation at large concluding by advising that “youths should look for good role models to emulate for their own success.”
