Edo NDLEA intercepts 14,430 tramador


The Edo State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested two suspects for smuggling 14,430 tablets of tramadol.
State commander of the agency, Buba Wakawa, said other exhibits found on the suspects include: Diazepam 53,250 tablets, 3,000 and Rophynol 120 tablets. 

Wakama stated that the suspects, Adamu Abdullahi  and Kabiru Ahmad, were apprehended while trafficking the illicit drugs to Gombe State. 
He warned that there is no hiding place for drug traffickers, adding: “Anyone caught dealing in narcotic drugs will face strict sanctions.”
Wakama further disclosed that it has launched investigation to determine whether the suspects have ties with boko haram insurgents.
