Edo remains APC state – Ex-deputy governor 

A former deputy governor of Edo state, Dr. Pius Odubu, said the state is All Progressives Congress (APC), state, saying the presidential candidate of the party, Ahmed Bola Tinubu has no issues in achieving his ambition as far as Edo is concerned.

The former deputy governor made the assertions in Benin City, when he inaugurated Independent Campaign Council, ICC, of Tinubu/Shettima,Edo State chapter.

Odubu who noted Edo state was ready to correct past mistakes by voting for APC candidates from the presidency to National Assembly, urged the inaugurated Campaign Council to work assiduously to ensure victory of candidates at all levels.

According to him, “Edo is set to correct the mistakes it made in the past; Edo is APC state, Tinubu has no issues; we are going vote for Tinubu and all our candidates at all levels.

“You must make sure you campaign for all our candidates and make sure they win.”

He, however, told the PCC, “You are not an alternative to the state executives, you are to complement their efforts and make sure all our candidates win. 

Edo state coordinator of the ICC, Mr. Osarobo Idahosa, promised that his team will work hard to make sure they delivered the state to Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the APC.

On his part, the National Deputy Coordinator, South, ICC, Mr. Akin Awodeyi, said with the calibre of persons inaugurated, he was optimistic that they were going to deliver Edo for Tinubu and other candidates of the APC.
