Edo train attack: We ‘re intensifying efforts to rescue remaining victims – Police



The Commissioner of Police in charge of the Railway Police Command, CP Yetunde Longe, has said investigations were being intensified to ensure that the victims of abduction at the Ekehene train station, Edo state by some yet-to-be-identified gunmen are rescued from the custody of their abductors.

CP Longer while addressing newsmen at the Railway Police Command Headquarters in Lagos, Wednesday, noted that the command was working closely with the Edo state Police command as well as other security agencies and relevant authorities to ensure that victims are swiftly and safely rescued.

Accordingly, the command called on the general public with useful information that could aid police investigation to volunteer and report at the nearest police station.
