Reverend Augustine Ehiemere has been reelected as the Abia state chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) alongside 27 other members of the state Working Committee of the party.
Ehiemere emerged victorious following harmonization of the two hitherto factions of the party that made way for peace few weeks ago.
Speaking at the occasion, Engineer Uchenna Okogbuo ,the state Congress Committee Chairman said they decided harmonise in order to pave way for a united front .
Okogbuo who is the National Deputy Chairman of South supervised the congress alongside other two members of the Committee set up by the National Working Committee of the party.
He however tasked the new Exco to ensure they carry everybody along.
In his acceptance speech, the state Reverend Ehiemere thanked members for reposing confidence on them promising not to disappoint.
