Eid el- Fitr: Ejidike, Kida, Ikpea felicitate with Muslim faithful, pray for Nigeria’s unity


As Muslim faithful in Nigeria and around the world celebrate Eid el-Fitr which marks the end of the 30 days fasting, prominent Nigerians have also rolled out the drums to join the party.
Nigeria’s Pillars of Sports, High Chief Donatus Agu-Ejidike, in a message released on his behalf by the national office of the Nigeria Pillars of Sports congratulated Nigerian Muslims on the successful completion of the fast.


Ejidike was quick also to task Nigerians to use the celebration period to also reflect positively on the presently socio-economic challenges facing the country and pray for its unity and progress.
Engr. Musa Kida, who is President of Nigeria Basketball Federation, thanked God for the completion of the Ramadan fasting which he describes as a month of divine blessings and intervention. 


Kida went ahead to pray that God will continue to protect the country against negative forces, as well as, bless and prosper all Nigerians.
Amb (Rev). Samuel Ikpea, National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters club in his message stated that the divine blessings of the month of Ramadan will bear positive fruits for Muslim faithfuls and all Nigerians.


Amb. Ikpea said at this critical period of our national life, Nigerians, irrespective of religion, tribe or creed must shed all the differences, and pray and work together for a united, safe, peaceful and progressive Nigeria.
