A front-line member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and national coordinator, Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo (MBO) Dynamic Support Group, Hon Usman Ibrahim, has reiterated the need to leverage on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir festival to pray for peaceful co-existence in Nigeria.

In a press statement, Tuesday, the group’s acting national publicity secretary, Malam Ibrahim Mohammed, quoted the national coordinator as saying that there is a strong correlation between peaceful co-existence and development of the country.

He, therefore, pointed out that irrespective of ethnic or religious affiliations “we must come together as a people for the betterment of our country.”
In the Sallah message entitled: “At a time like this,” the coordinator noted that, “Nigeria is our country and the onus is on us to put aside our differences and place interest of the nation above any other consideration with a view to realising the quest for a more prosperous country.

“Therefore, as we celebrate Sallah, there is the need to seek Almighty Allah’s protection for our leaders and more knowledge to enable them steer the affairs of the country.”

“Hence the need for us to remain steadfast in our collective drive to make Nigeria a better place for all and sundry.”
