President Mohammed Buhari has hosted corps members serving in Daura as part of Eid el Kabir celebration Tuesday.
A statement from the DG’s office revealed that he gave the corps members two bulls, 20 bags of rice, cash, among others.
It has been the tradition of Mr President long before he became president to host corps members during festivities whether in Daura or not.
The state coordinator of NYSC, Alhaji Ahidjo Yahaya, on behalf of the Director-General, Brig-General Shuaibu Ibrahim, appreciated the kind gesture of Mr President for his interest in the welfare of corps members.
“It will spur them to do more for the country,” he said, and prayed for God’s protection and good health for Mr President.
