Eid-el-Kabir: Edoh urges youths to engage leaders in peaceful dialogue

The Nigerian Youth Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Raymond Edoh, has called on the Federal government to deliver dividends of democracy to the people, stressing that Nigeria has the resources needed to make it possible.

Edoh, who made this call in a Sallah message revealed that the major challenge Nigeria is facing is bad leadership coupled with
lack of a transparent system which turns out to be the instrument for bad leadership.

He thanked the youth for their patience and endurance no matter the situation as he urged them to continue to believe in one Nigeria and a better Nigeria in the nearest future.

Edoh advised them not to let themselves be used to
inflicting pain on society through rubbering, Kidnapping, and other societal vises.

Expressing optimism, he said the only way that Nigerian youths can get hold of power is by engaging the leaders with peaceful dialogue.

“Trust me, with dialogue and peace talks we will be in various offices in the nearest future”, he added.

Edoh also urged Muslims to hold unto the lessons of selflessness, discipline obedience, and sacrifice which is the essence of the celebration as he advised Nigerian youths to stay and keep safe given the confirmed upsurge in COVID 19 infections noting that the Delta Variant of the virus is already in the country.
