Chidera Ejuke says he is prepared to wait for his chance to feature for the Super Eagles.

Ejuke scored nine goals in 25 league appearances for his Dutch club SC Heerenveen last season and there has been clamour for his invitation to the Super Eagles.

The 22-year-old is however not in a hurry to make his first appearance for the three-time African champions.

“I know if I’m given the chance, I will take it,” he told Cool FM Abuja.

“It’s not something to rush, I am going to be patient and wait for my time (with the Super Eagles).”

Ejuke has also been linked with a move away from Heerenveen this summer.

He only linked up with Heerenveen from Norwegian club Valerenga last summer(Completesports.com)
