The Ekiti State House of Assembly at a plenary in Ado-Ekiti Tuesday has unanimously changed the “Fountain of knowledge” on the official logo of the state to “Land of Honour.”
The motion for the change was moved by the chairman committee on Government Business, Chief Gboyega Aribisogan
Aribisogan observed that the society is dynamic and Ekiti has proven its level of dynamism through the adoption of the new state Logo.
The speaker of the Assembly, Adeniran Alagbada while contributing; commended members for their prompt action on the amendment.
The speaker stressed that history would not forget them on efforts at restoring the core values that “Ekiti people are noted for.”
