Ekiti United undergo Covid-19, ECG test


In compliance with the directive of the management of the Nigeria National football league-NNL prior to the kickoff of the league, all the players, coaches and backroom staff of Ekiti United fc on Monday went through the compulsory Covid19 test.

The test which took place in Ado was carried out by professional medical personnel.

The team doctor, Toyin Babatunde who was also part of the medical crew said the results of the Covid19 tests are not available yet 

The club secretary, Ayodeji Olowolafe also said the ECG test will come up today (Tuesday) in furtherance of the club’s compliance with NNL directive prior to league kickoff.

Olowolafe said the management will continue to do its best to keep the players and officials safe from exposure to diseases or any form of danger .

The Nigeria National football league kicks off on January 30 with Ekiti United campaigning in the group B1 of the league.
