El-Rufai appoints heads for 15 Kaduna agencies

Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna state has approved the appointment of three new heads of agencies, redeployment of one agency boss and reappointment of heads of 11 other agencies of Kaduna state government.

A statement from Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House Kaduna signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication, Mr Muyiwa Adekeye, said three new persons have been elevated to head agencies, while one person moves to a different agency.

“A consultant psychiatrist with the Kaduna State University (KASU), Dr Joseph Maigari, becomes the new head of the Kaduna State Bureau of Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (KADBUSA). Dr. Isah Baka moves from (KADBUSA) to the Kaduna State Aids Control Agency (KADSACA). 

“Former Special Assistant to the Governor, Ismail Umaru Dikko, is the new General Manager of the Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency (KASUPDA). He replaces Architect Fausat Ibironke who has been appointed as Commissioner, Ministry of Housing & Urban Development. Hadiza Hamza, a General Manager in KADIPA, is appointed Managing Director of the Kaduna State Development and Property Company (KSDPC).

“All the other officials are reappointed to their previous roles as follows: Ibrahim Ismaila Ahmed, Managing Director, Kaduna State Media Corporation; Basheer Bature, Statistician-General, Kaduna State Bureau of Statistics; Bashir Muhammad, Director-General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms; Engr. Lawal Magaji, Managing Director, Kaduna State Roads Agency.

“Kabir Goma, Executive Secretary, Kaduna Industrialization and Micro-Credit Management Board. Aisha Saidu Bala, Director-General, Kaduna State Transport Regulatory Authority; Dominic Bincike Dogo, General Manager, Community and Social Development Agency; Dr. Muhammad Nura Sani, Managing Director Kaduna Mining Development Company.

“Umar Waziri, Managing Director Kaduna Investment and Finance Company; Mohammed Dayyabu Paki, Director General Kaduna Facilities Management Agency and Lawal Jibrin, General Manager, Kaduna Environmental Protection Agency. The appointments take immediate effect.”
