Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state is truly a man of principle but that doesn’t stop him from performing his great task of running the affairs of Kaduna state with utmost patience and high sense of responsibility.
There are several policies, programmes and projects designed and well implemented aimed at providing social, security and welfare for the great people of Kaduna state. But, politicians have succeeded in painting the governor black in the eyes of the public in the name of politics while ignoring the Infrastructural development in the state.
El-Rufai remains the most intelligent, diligent governor with principles that will help strengthen the education sector, economy and sociopolitical activities of Kaduna the state. The giant strides recorded include rehabilitation and construction of major roads that link various local governments of the state. Also, the renovation of modern schools and hospitals remains the greatest achievement of the administration that is worthy of emulation.
The recent construction of Kawo flyover with three ground rotaries and Zaria water project is among the outstanding and highly commendable work done by El-Rufai administration. The governor is also working very hard in tackling the menace of armed bandits and kidnappers bedevilling the state. However, the governor was harsh in handling civil servants’ saga in the state.
Also, the recent reported increment of school fees for Kaduna State University students is uncalled for and needs to be reconsidered.
Despite all the criticisms from all angles, the governor has remained steadfast and continued rendering his great services to fast track development of modern Kaduna state. Above all, other governors should try and emulate the system and policies of El-Rufai.
