After several call for the arrest of the governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, popular human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has said the Department of State Services (DSS) has quietly declared the CBN governor wanted.
While appearing on Channels TV on Sunday, the activist said, “I can say without any fear that Mr Godwin Emefiele is not in Nigeria, but he has been quietly declared wanted by state Security Services.
“This can only happen in a Banana republic where the CBN Governor would be accused of a grave offence, which is terrorism financing.”
