The Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, has appointed Alhaji AbdulRahaman Nuhu Bayero of Radio Nigeria Headquarters as the new Dan Iyyan Zazzau.
AbdulRahaman Nuhu Bayero replaces the late Dan Iyyan, who died in November 2020.
In a letter signed by the Secretary of the Zazzau Emirate and Sarkin Fulanin Zazzau, Alhaji Barau Musa Aliyu, the date of the coronation will be announced by the coronation committee which will take place at the Emir of Zazzau palace.
The Zazzau Emirate Council congratulated AbdulRahaman Nuhu Bayero over the appointment and prayed to Allah to give him the wisdom, long life and guidanca for him to succeed in his new position.
The newly appointed Dan Iyyan Zazzau, AbdurRahaman Nuhu is a staff of news and Current Affairs of Radio Nigeria Headquarters, before then he was an editor at Radio Nigeria Kaduna, Correspondent at Zaria and also Head of News at Radio Nigeria FM in Dutse, Jigawa state.
