#EndSARS protesters raze Police station, Army checkpoint in Imo

Despite the 24-hour curfew imposed on the state by Governor Hope Uzodinma last night, aggrieved youth Wednesday morning razed down the Nworieubi Police station and the Army checkpoint at Ubomiri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area (LGA) of Imo state, where soldiers used to stay and extort money from motorists and the general public.
The angry youth who spoke to Blueprint correspondent said the brutality of the policemen and soldiers in the area was too much and that the ongoing protest was an opportunity for them to pay them back in their own coin.

People have been going about their normal businesses since the curfew was announced, but the normal gathering of protesters and blocking of roads have not been noticed anywhere in the state as security agents are seen at strategic areas in Owerri, the state capital .
