Enyimba city’ll redefine S/East economy – Ikpeazu

Abia state Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has said the Enyimba Economic City project will redefine the economies of the South East states as well as the West African sub region when completed.

Governor Ikpeazu, who was speaking at a special church service at the Dominion City Church, Umungasi, Aba-Abia state, stated that the major problem of constant power, which was a hindrance to the establishment of the city has been taken care of with the purchase of geometric power plant by a Chinese investor.

He further disclosed that by October, the Chinese company which has already signed an MoU with the state for the project, would arrive to start the project, calling for prayers from the Church so that the license for the city can be signed.

The governor lauded churches in the country for playing key role in the peace and stability of the country, noting that it was the impact of the church that has reduced youth restiveness in the Niger Delta and other parts of the country.

In a sermon, Rev Dr David Ogbueli, described the Igbo as very knowledgeable and creative set of people who could manufacture virtually everything.
