Transactions on the floor of Nigerian Stock Exchange yesterday sustained declining profile, dropping by N39 billion. Specifically, market capitalisation of listed equities depreciated by 0.29 per cent to N13.166 trillion from N13.205 trillion paid in the previous day. The NSE All Share Index also declined by 106.44 basis points o 36346.80 points from 36455.24 points reported on Tuesday. Investors traded 329.898 million shares worth N3.646 billion in 4327 deals, against 226.272 million shares cost N2.208 billion exchanged hands the previous day in 3624 deals.
A review of the trading activities showed that
Betaglass led gainers table, increasing by N5.10 kobo to close at N78.00, Unilever Nigeria Plc followed with a gain of N0.45 kobo to close at N52.55 kobo, CutixPlc gained N0.36 kobo to close at N3.99 kobo, United Bank for Africa appreciated by N0.35 kobo to close at N9.50 kobo while Cement company Of Northern Nigeria gained N0.20 kobo to close at N26.20 kobo.
On the contrary, Forte Oil recorded the highest loss during the day, dropping by N2.10 kobo to close at N23.10 kobo, Lafarge Wapco trail with a loss of N1.75 kobo to close at N27.50 kobo, Dangote Sugar Refinery dropped by N1.50 kobo to close at N15.50 kobo, Flour Mills Nigeria Plc felled by N1.00 to close at N28.70 kobo While Nigerian Breweries fell by N1.00 to close at N104.50 kobo.
