Esu of Kado, Malam Danlami Audu, was penultimate weekend conferred with the title of Leader of Esu village by a group, National Gbagyi Support Forum, in his palace at Kado.
National President of Abwha Tinajenu Bhagyi Gbagyi Support Forum, Malam Yusuf Kaura, highlighted the Esu’s good deeds, saying that he once “invited a Chinese medical team to the village to provide treatment to residents at affordable cost.”
Other good deeds and humanitarian sides of the traditional ruler which attracted the leadership title, as enumerated by the Gbagyi Forum, include maintaining a cordial relationship with the Nigeria Police, which had accounted for maintenance of security in the area by flushing out criminals.
Audu was said to have instituted a regular sanitation exercise where Kado inhabitants carry out cleaning of their environment every last Saturday of the month.
Responding, Malam Danlami Audu expressed profound gratitude to the Gbaggyi forum “for recognising his good work” and pledged to work assiduously for the progress of his people and all the residents of Kado village.”
