Ex-Borno commissioner takes over as National Trail boss

Immediate past Borno state Commissioner for Information, Home Affairs and Culture, Mr. Inuwa Bwala, has assumed the leadership of National Trail newspapers based in Abuja as its Chairman and Editor-in-Chief.
Bwala disclosed this on Monday in Maiduguri when he was handing over the affairs of the Ministry to the permanent secretary, Alhaji Abba Fugue.

He thanked Governor Kashim Shettima for giving him the opportunity to serve the state for almost three and half years as commissioner.
Describing the state correspondents’ chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) as his constituency, he appealed for continuous cordial relationships and brotherhood he had enjoyed while in office from the staff and journalists, saying “we are one family and have been working together without anybody knowing our problems.”

He said: “I hope the relationship will continue beyond my leaving the office. I am very grateful to my boss, Governor Kashim Shettima, for giving me the opportunity to work with him and serve in his cabinet in the past three and half years without any interruption. And as I take my leave, I remain loyal to him and the party as far as I am also a member of the APC.”
In his remarks, the permanent secretary assured him that the ministry would always remember him and keep in touch with him for one thing or the other, and prayed for his continuous success in life.
