Ex-councilors forum lauds IGP for instilling discipline in Police


The National Forum of Ex-Councilors has commended the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammad Abubakar Adamu, for instilling improved discipline in the operational modules of the Police force.
National President of the Forum, Hon. Auwal Kasim, told the media in Kaduna on Monday that IGP Adamu deserves commendation for the training and retraining of its personnel to bring them to international standard.


“The IGP ensures that the morale of it’s personnel are given a facelift through good welfare packages. Others include transportation and housing programmes for the comfort of his personnel. 
“IGP Adamu introduced reforms that made Nigeria Police a pride to the nation,” Auwal Kasim said.


Speaking on the Forum, Hon Kasim, said the group is an umbrella of Nigerians who are professionally inclined in their life pursuits.
“We are committed to promoting values and principles of humility, hard work, transparency and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria,” he said.
