Ex-senator sues for peaceful co-existence amongst Nasarawa PDP

The immediate past senator that represented Nasarawa South, Sulaiman Adokwe, Thursday, called for unity and peaceful coexistence, and tolerance among the People Democratic Party (PDP) members in Nasarawa state.

He made the called at PDP office in Awe, Keana, and Obi local government areas of the state.

Adokwe, who served as senator from 2007 to 2019, on the platform PDP, commended the people of Nasarawa South and the PDP in the state for giving him the opportunity to serve in the senate for 12 years.

He emphasised that the people of his zone have supported him at all times, adding that he shall remain grateful to his people for given him the mandate.

He said the purpose of the visit was to appreciate the people of his zone for the support given to him to serve as Senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria for 12 years.

“We are not here for campaign but for a thank you visit, just to show my appreciation to you people, because since after the 2019 general elections i could not meet with people, and I found it necessary to come and say thank you I appreciate you all”

The senator maintained that there was a need for more vibrant synergy among its family members and should not be destructed rather to remain focus towards the success of the party in the next coming elections.

Responding, the PDP chairman Awe Keana and Obi local government areas, Alhaji Jibrin Aruwa, Ogu Awotu, and Daniel Zakaria, appreciated the visit and prayed for God guidance.

They, therefore, called for calm and continues support and cooperation among the PDP members in the state.
