“The Governor as the father of the state must be willing to make some sacrifice, while the leadership of the judiciary must also be ready to make some concession. We are however in touch with the two groups already and we are optimistic that reasons will prevail”

While commending the efforts of the Chief of Staff, Chief Edward Onoja, the Accountant General of the state, Alhaji Jibril Momoh, for their efforts at resolving the issue, the group equally called on all elders, traditional rulers and opinion leaders from Kogi State to wade into the matter by prevailing on the two sides to shift ground.

“As we all know that no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of rancour and discordant tones,” they said.
