Exposed! Youth plot for Desmond Elliot as Lagos residents vote on 2023 governorship, state assembly elections

Nigerian youths across social media have vowed to retire veteran actor Desmond Elliot in the upcoming governorship and state house of assembly elections in Lagos state.
 
In their torrents of tweets, youths are now clamoring for fellow Nollywood star, Olumide Oworu, of The Johnsons Fame to replace Elliot.
 
The younger Owuru wants to unseat his senior colleague, Desmond Elliot as the member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Surulere constituency 1, a poostion Desmond has held for eight years.
 
Actor Owuru is running on the platform of the Labour Party.

“Surulere 1, you know what to do.”

Oluyemi Fasipe said, “Even if we want to play the ethnic card Desmond Elliot is from Delta State he is not Yoruba. He called Nigerian youths “children” during the #EndSars protest & supported the bill against free speech. The sorosoke generation in Surulere constituency 1 will vote him out as payback.”
