Osun state government has set up a disciplinary committee to investigate alleged malicious post by the field Commander of Amotekun corps, Comrade Amitolu Shittu.
Amitolu was alleged to have maligned the image of some members of the cabinet of the state government in a post allegedly published on his Facebook page.
The committee composed to investigate the matter was headed by the secretary to the state government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji.
The committee is to submit its report to the governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, within 72hours.
Other members of the committee are: the deputy chief of staff, Prince Abdullah Adeyanju Binuyo, chairman, Osun Security Network and Amotekun Corps Board, Gen. Ademola Aderibigbe, Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji; and the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode.
It was gathered that the committee has invited Shittu to state his position on the alleged post.
