Fagna Boss, Falolu Bags IMC’s Fellowship

In a bid to regulate management consultancy activities, the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC), may soon issue licences to certified practitioners in the country.

Sequel to this, the Council of the IMC is organising a one-day workshop and fellowship programme in Abuja and Lagos on Thursday and Friday.

The forum provides a common platform for CMC Certification workshop, which is a requirement of the International Council of Managing Consulting Institutes for any one to qualify for the CMC license,” said the institute’s Director -General, Prof. David Iornem.

The workshop is expected to  cover topics such as Code of Ethical Conduct, the Uniform Body of Knowledge, Management Consulting Process, Client requirements, ISO 20700 Quality Management System, Typical Management Consultancy Contract and other related matters.

The organisers said participants at the workshop and fellowship programme will be eligible for the Certified Management Consultants licence, to be granted by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes. The licence is the highest qualification any management consultant can aspire to attain. It is globally accepted and recognized in over 50 countries.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fagna Training and Consultants, Mr. Ajadi Bolade Falolu, who is among those qualified  to receive the institute’s fellowship, said the platform is an important step in sanitising the management consultancy industry in the country.

“This is the highest grade of the Institute’s Membership and is reserved for accomplished professionals. I think it is a transparent way of isolating the industry from invasion by all comers. It will bring some sanity to the job and enhance professionalism,” said Ajadi.
