Family holds remembrance service for Ogbemudia

Eldest son of late former military governor of defunct Bendel state, Mr.
Sam Ogbemudia Jnr. has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to step up security in other to curtail the spate of “wastage of lives and properties” in the country.
He said it is the duty and responsibility of the government to protect lives and properties of its citizens, adding that “security gives sense of belonging to the ordinary man in the street”.

made the call when he led family members, friends and well wishers to a church thanksgiving service of his father, the late Brigadier Samuel Ogbemudia’s one year remembrance anniversary in Benin City, Edo state.
He, however, thanked the President Muhammadu Buhariled federal Government, the Benin monarch, Delta and Edo state government for standing by them throughout the “trying period”.
The remembrance service attracted important dignitaries from the defunct Bendel state, now Edo and Delta states, respectively
