‘Fashion Rebirth’ brings stakeholders together to promote Nigerian clothes

Fashion Rebirth, a movement aimed promoting made in Nigeria clothes will hold its maiden edition Exhibition/expo seminar with a view to liking boutique owners and designers for optimal result.

The event scheduled for September 15th at the National Press Center, Radio House Abuja, will be anchored by the visionaire of Fashion Rebirth, Vivian Zadok and her team made up of Mrs Taniyo Bara Zadok,  Barrister Jide Adejana, Mr James John Ogbu and Mrs Janet James Ogbu.

It would also feature top fashion moguls who will speak about their growth stories so as to inspire and mentor upcoming designers.

Besides, Bank of Industry, National Council for Arts and Culture and SMEDAN are partnering with Fashion Rebirth to make the movement a success.

These reputable organizations will be there to speak about facilities provided by the Government to aid small businesses and how to access them; they will also hold a business clinic to stress the importance of starting small and learning the business aspect of the trade before expanding.

Most importantly the agencies will equally encourage Nigerian’s generally to embrace our culture and promote our indigenous manufacturers.

The ultimate aim of Fashion Rebirth is to provide job opportunities to country’s teeming youths and elevate Nigeria’s position on the global fashion map as a favourable destination that will attract international investment.

The project dreams of reviving the textile industry which will consequently impact positively on the Agricultural sector, drive the growth and development of micro, small and medium enterprises many of which are skills-based services.
