Fayose didn’t kill Ayo Daramola – Onijan

The Onijan of Ijan Ekiti, Oba Samuel Fadahunsi, has absolved the Ekiti state 2014 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Mr Ayo Fayose, of the murder of the late World Bank Consultant, late Dr Ayo Daramola, an indigene of the town.
The monarch, who stated this at his palace on Monday when the Fayose paid him a courtesy visit during a campaign tour to the wards in Gboyin local government area, said a ritual which was performed to fish out the killers exonerated Fayose, saying that he was satisfied with the outcome because the ritual was properly performed.

Dr Ayo Daramola, an indigene of the town, was assassinated in August 2006.
Oba Fadahunsi said identity of the killers were later unmasked through the ritual.
He said: “We know the killers of Daramola because their identities were revealed through the ritual we performed; Fayose is innocent.

“The ritual we performed was thorough, it exonerated Fayose. It said that Fayose did not kill our son and not connected. Therefore those linking Fayose to Daramola’s death are doing so for mischief and political reason. As far as I am concerned as the monarch and as far as Ijan community is concerned, Fayose has no hand in the death of our son.”
The royal father berated those he called enemy of the town who had pasted the poster of late Daramola in the town for political reason to spite Fayose.
