It was a mixed feelings for commuters plying Dutse-Bwari road when the ministerial task team constituted to clear the lingering traffic congestion occasioned by human attitude, stormed Dutse axis of the road Monday.
Blueprint gathered that a lot of erring drivers who drive against the traffic flow were turned back to follow the rule especially, the uniform men who led therecalcitrant against the traffic.
Chairman of task team comrade Attah Ikharo, lamented the attitude of uniform men, describing their attitude as worrisome and embarrassing.
He frown at non challant attitude of the traffic officers Manning the road towards the unlawful drivers, saying more to their actions.
He also observed that apart from poor attitude of road users along Bwari-Dutse road, the Oloye Jumoke Akinjide, Market at Dutse Alhaji is also constituting to the gridlocks.
He noted that the management of the market as lease out all packing space in the market to petty trader leaving drivers using the market to park and pick passengers on the road.
He therefore, accused the market management of allowing traders to trade by the road side.
The chairman who maintained that though there was no definite sanction on erring driver for Monday, been the weekly market day.
He assured that the trend would be sustained for now.
Speaking earlier, the chairman of Dutse Alhaji market /shops owners, who accepted the cleaning and reversal of the car park to its original use explained that with order of the Minister, the park would be maintained and sustained, he said the person in charge of park should be hold responsible for it misused.
