FCT pilgrims depart 30th July 2017

Pilgrims from the Federal Capital Territory will depart Nigeria to Saudi Arabia on 30th July marking the commencement of airlift of Nigeria pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year hajj. Flynas air, a Saudi Authority designate air carrier will fl y FCT pilgrims immediately after a brief ceremony to be held at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. meanwhile, Kaduna state will begin evacuation of its 6, 213 pilgrims on 1st of August 2017. Kaduna State has the highest registered pilgrims of 6, 247 for 2017 hajj while Kano who has the highest allocation registered less than 4, 000. Four airlines: Max Air, Medview Air, Azman Air and Saudi Arabia designate airline Flynas will operate from 12 departing points in an exercise bill to last for 28-30 days. So far, over 5, 600 pilgrims from Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Indonesia has arrived Saudi Arabia for this year hajj. Th e fi rst set of pilgrims arrived Madina on 24th July aboard Pakistan Airlines.
