FG appoints CEOs of NTA, FRCN, NAN, others

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday approved the appointments of  General Martin Luther Agwai  (rtd) as the chairman of Subsidy Reinvestment Programmme (SURE-P) and Mrs. Tanwa Olusi as his deputy.

The president also approved the appointment of Mrs. Fidelia Njeze as Special Adviser (NEPAD), Senator Suleiman M. Ajadi as Special Adviser (NASS), Mr. Sola Omole as Director General of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Alhaji Ladan Salihu as Director General of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and erstwhile presidential spokesperson, Mr. Ima Niboro as the Managing Director of News Agency of Nigeria.

A statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, said the appointments, which take immediate effect, were in furtherance of efforts to continually strengthen the administration on all fronts.

General Agwai was until now the Deputy Chairman and Acting Chairman of SURE-P while Mrs. Njeze is the current Nigerian Ambassador to Switzerland.
