President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the extension of additional one year tenure for the Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), Dr. Gbadebo Smith.
A release signed by the Director of Information in Ministry of Budget and National Planning, Hassan Dobo, and made available to Blueprint, Monday, said the extension is in accordance with the extant provisions of the latest edition of the 2019 of the conditions of service for federal research and development agencies, institutes and colleges of completion of five years. The extension takes effect from 31st May 2021.
The Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba has since wished the Director General a successful tenure of office.
