FG partners Enspire on youth employment, empowerment

The federal government is synergising with Enspire, an initiation of Abuja Technology Village set up in 2013, on job creation and technological empowerment of the youth.

Kick-starting the collaboration over the weekend in Abuja, the federal government, through the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy, identified with Enspire at the unveiling of its startup offices situated at the premises of the National Merit House in  Maitama.  

In his goodwill message at the occasion, Minister of Communication, Dr Isa Ali Pantami, commended Enspire for the innovation which he said , falls in line with the federal government’s policy on youth employment and empowerment .

Pantami, who was represented by a director in the ministry, Dr Usman Abdullahi said : ” Innovation is critical in addressing all problems as being  practically  demonstrated by Enspire with this wonderful initiative .

“The ministry is impressed by this value, adding idea and the National Information and Technology Development Agency (NITDA), is following and more than ready to collaborate for expansion and sustenance of the idea.”

In her remarks, Managing Director of Enspire, Mrs Hauwa Yabani , said the start-up offices are put in place for youth with intellectual capital , creativity and technological innovations without finances to take off.
