FG’ll begin sack of quack teachers from public, private schools this month – TRCN

The Registrar, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Professor Segun Ajiboye Wednesday hinted of the federal government plan to begin enforcement and monitoring of compliance of sack of unregistered teachers from schools across the country.

Professor Ajiboye, who dropped the hint while speaking with journalists in Ibadan declared that the monitoring is to kick off next week, Monday, March 9.

The TRCN Registrar maintained that there will be no going back in the federal government quest at ensuring  that only qualified and professionals licensed by TRCN are allowed to teach in both public and private schools nationwide.

Emphasising that the first phase of the compliance monitoring and documentation will take place nationwide between March 9 and 17, Professor Ajiboye said  the task force has been activated to beam searchlight into the credentials of those teaching in government and private schools for appropriate commendation or sanction as the case may be.
