FG’s claim on Boko Haram

It amounts to self-indictment for the Presidency to claim that the Nigerian Army has much fire-power, expertise, weaponry, funding, morale and discipline to tackle the insurgency; yet the killings go on.

This statement on the supposed army’s power by the presidency tends to lend credence to the school of thought that government is ignoring the Boko Haram insurgency.

I tend to agree, otherwise why, in spite of the acclaimed capacity of the army, the insurgents come again and again to attack regularly in large number, in many vehicles, trucks, armoured cars, motorcycles, and can then go into hiding anywhere on earth?

The attacks in Izge that took place for 3 to 4 consecutive days without hindrance are a case in point. Where is the military might that Dr Doyin Okupe was talking about the other day?
