FIBA World Cup: Despite losing 2 matches, Nwora rates D’Tigers as one of global best

Nigeria’s D’Tigers coach Uche Nwora has rated the team as one of global best despite losing two straight FIBA World Cup matches.

Nigeria lost to Argentina 81-94 in second group game, two days after losing to Russia in same group B.

They are left with the only group encounter with South Korea on Thursday.

Nwora said after their Argentina duel, “I’m proud of these guys. They fought. We’re still one of the best teams in Africa but we haven’t shown it. We will with time. We still have a lot of work to do.”
