FIFA U-20 World Cup: We’re ready to face Senegal – Makanjuola

Flying Eagles winger, Success Makanjuola has said his teammates are prepared to go against any team in the knockout round of the ongoing U-20 World Cup In Poland.

In the wake of securing qualification into the knockout stages of the tournament, the 18-year-old speedy winger told AOIfootball.com in a private chat, that the players are ready to match any side as they hope to be crowned champions.

“From what I see, the determination and the tenacity I saw in the boys against Ukraine. We are ready to take on any team right now as we have gotten to that stage where we know we can do it.

“The performance we put up against Ukraine was impressive and I was happy. I believe going into the Round of 16 to face any team and I know we can conquer,” Makanjuola said.

The Waters FC winger who was handed his first start in the competition added.

“I was very happy because the coach is someone who really talks to me a lot. He told me that I should go and do what I know how to do best and that he believes in me and that was why I am in the starting line up,” he concluded.

The Flying Eagles are most likely to face Senegal as they seek to be crowned world champions.
